The Lochcarron Treehouse
The Lochcarron Treehouse is a unique venue at the Smithy Community Hub between Strathcarron and Lochcarron on the North Coast 500 route. It was built in 2011 as part of Sky TV's "Great Treehouse Challenge." TV presenters, experts and the community got together for five days of reality TV drama and hard work to create this wonderful venue. It is now run on a not-for-profit basis and available for hire. It stands overlooking the tranquil River Abhainn Bhuachainn which runs alongside the Smithy Community Hub, and is a perfect location for retreats, workshops, yoga, meetings, photo-shoots, picnics, crafting, and much, much more.
The Tree House is under new management from Autumn 2024 find out more here.
